Taper saves your recording to disk as it goes and checks in every few seconds. Your show comes back the next time you open the app, marked Recovered, with a note saying how much audio was saved. Nothing is deleted. You lose at most the last few seconds before the phone shut off.

Before you start, Taper warns you if the battery is under 30% or Low Power Mode is on. While recording, it warns you at 10%. At 3% it stops the recording on its own and saves the show properly, with a note saying why. If you have a second phone synced, that one keeps recording.

For a long show, plug in or use a battery pack, turn Low Power Mode off, and keep the phone out of the sun.

Turn on Sync Devices in Settings on both. Start, stop and marks on one drive both. It is off by default.
